Position overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior SEO Specialist with 4–6 years of experience to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will lead and execute a wide range of SEO activities, including on-page, off-page, technical SEO, content marketing, AIO (AI Optimization), AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), keyword research, link building, analytics, communication, competitor analysis, strategic planning, and optionally, content writing. The role also involves mentoring junior team members and managing multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

  1. On-page, off-page, and technical SEO:
  • Conduct comprehensive on-page and technical SEO audits to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Implement advanced on-page SEO practices to improve rankings, user experience, and crawlability.
  • Execute strong off-page strategies to build high-quality backlinks and improve domain authority.
  • Ensure websites adhere to search engine guidelines, Core Web Vitals, and technical best practices.
  1. Content Marketing & AIO (AI Optimization):
  • Collaborate with the content team to align SEO goals with long-form and short-form content strategies.
  • Develop and implement content marketing initiatives that drive consistent organic traffic.
  • Optimize content using AI-assisted workflows (AIO), ensuring accuracy, relevance, and search intent alignment.
  • AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) & GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
  • Optimize content for AI-driven search platforms such as Google SGE, Bing Copilot, and Perplexity.
  • Structure content to rank in featured snippets, People Also Ask, zero-click results, and AI summaries.
  • Adapt SEO strategies for evolving AI-powered engines and SERP layouts.
  1. Keyword Research & Management:
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-impact and intent-driven keywords.
  • Optimize content and landing pages to improve organic visibility and conversions.
  • Manage keyword mapping, clustering, and topic authority strategies.
  1. Link building:
  • Plan and execute effective white-hat link-building campaigns.
  • Identify and pursue authoritative link opportunities (.edu, .gov, .org, high DA websites).
  • Build relationships through outreach, partnerships, and digital PR initiatives.
  1. Communication & Reporting:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate SEO priorities and requirements.
  • Provide clear, data-backed updates and insights to stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Present monthly and quarterly SEO performance reports.
  1. Competitor analysis:
  • Conduct detailed competitive research to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities.
  • Use competitor insights to refine keyword targeting, content direction, and link-building strategies.
  1. Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving:
  • Analyze complex data to make informed, strategic decisions.
  • Identify potential SEO roadblocks and develop proactive solutions.
  1. Content writing (optional):
  • Create SEO-friendly content when necessary, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and search intent.
  1. Strategy & research:
  • Develop and execute long-term SEO strategies aligned with business and growth goals.
  • Stay updated on algorithm changes, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  1. Analytics reasoning & decision making:
  • Use analytics tools (GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.) to track KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Make data-driven decisions to enhance organic visibility and conversions.
  1. Keyword management and SEO:
  • Successfully handled keywords, enhancing website traffic and ranking. Proficiency in technical SEO and a commitment to optimizing keywords for improved visibility.
  1. SEM and AdWords:
  • Experience working with Google Ads, including search, display, and video campaigns.
  • Support planning, analysis, and reporting for paid campaigns.
  1. Social media optimization:
  • Develop optimization calendars and analyze social media performance.
  • Contribute ideas to improve follower growth and engagement, especially on LinkedIn.
  1. Certifications and continuous learning:
  • Dedicated to acquiring certifications in AdWords, and social media, and mastering tools like Semrush, Google Analytics, and more. Aspire to complete SEMrush courses and continually improve soft skills and communication.
  1. Team & Project Management:
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Lead, mentor, and support junior SEO team members.
  • Collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and content creators.

Mandatory skills

  • Hands-on experience in SEO, SEM, and PPC across Google, Bing, and Yahoo.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing and conversion optimization.
  • Expertise with analytics platforms (GA4, GSC, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
  • Experience managing a team or mentoring junior team members.
  • Familiarity with bid management tools like click equations, marin, kenshoo, and search Ignite.
  • Proficiency in A/B testing and multivariate experiments.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript constraints.
  • Strong understanding of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
  • Ability to increase domain authority and organic search traffic.
  • Proven track record in keyword optimization and SERP position improvements.
  • Experience improving engagement across major social platforms (FB, IG, YT).
  • Strong backlink generation skills with focus on high-authority domains.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and completion of SEO certifications (Semrush, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Generate backlinks, emphasizing .edu, .org, .gov, and high DA domains.
  • Continuous learning through completing Semrush courses and focusing on personal development.
  • AI Tools: Proficiency in tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, Bard, and other AI-powered SEO platforms.
