Position overview

We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Senior IT Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and hiring exceptional IT professionals across a wide range of technologies. This role involves end-to-end recruitment management, candidate evaluation, workforce planning support, and close collaboration with technical and leadership teams.

Your primary goal will be to align top technical talent with our organizational requirements, enhance the overall quality of hiring, and streamline recruitment processes. Candidates with HR consultancy or staffing agency experience will be given preference.

Key responsibilities

  1. Talent Acquisition & Sourcing:
  • Identify, source, and engage qualified IT professionals across diverse technical domains.
  • Utilize job portals, professional networks, social platforms, referrals, and advanced sourcing techniques to build strong talent pipelines.
  • Conduct market research to identify talent hotspots and hiring trends.
  1. Screening & Evaluation:
  • Evaluate candidates through in-depth screening and preliminary assessment of technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate technical assessments and interview panels with internal teams.
  • Validate experience, salary expectations, notice periods, and employment documentation.
  1. End-to-End Recruitment Management:
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle—JD creation, sourcing, screening, interviews, salary negotiations, offer rollout, and onboarding coordination.
  • Ensure smooth communication between candidates, internal stakeholders, and hiring managers.
  • Maintain structured follow-ups to reduce dropouts, improve joining ratios, and enhance candidate experience.
  1. Client & Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with department heads and project managers to understand technical hiring needs and workforce requirements.
  • Provide hiring insights, talent availability reports, and suggestions for role alignment or compensation benchmarking.
  1. Consultancy & Strategic Hiring:
  • Leverage experience from HR consultancy / staffing models to manage mass hiring, niche hiring, or leadership-level roles effectively.
  • Execute strategies for IT lateral hiring, permanent staffing, executive search, and headhunting.
  • Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines.
  1. Recruitment Analytics & Reporting:
  • Track and report hiring metrics such as sourcing efficiency, TAT, offer–acceptance ratio, and joining conversion ratio.
  • Maintain recruitment dashboards and candidate databases for future reference and audits.
  • Provide insights to optimize recruitment processes based on data and performance trends.

      Required Skills & Competencies

      1. Technical & Recruitment Skills:
      • Proven experience in IT hiring across roles such as developers, testers, cloud engineers, DevOps, UI/UX, data professionals, and IT support.
      • Strong understanding of technical terminology, current IT trends, and market demands.
      • Expertise in sourcing through portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), Boolean search, and headhunting strategies.
      • Experience in HR consulting, staffing, executive search, or lateral hiring.
      1. Soft Skills:
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
      • Analytical thinking for assessing candidate abilities and market conditions.
      • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple hiring demands under tight timelines.
      • Professional, empathetic, and approachable demeanor to ensure strong candidate engagement.

          Preferred Experience

          • HR consultancy / recruitment agency background.
          • Exposure to mass recruitment, permanent staffing, and IT staffing processes.
          • Experience in recruiting for both domestic and international markets (optional but advantageous).

          Certifications & Continuous Learning

          • Commitment to staying updated on industry hiring trends, new sourcing platforms, and emerging IT skillsets.
          • Relevant HR, recruitment, or technical certifications are an added advantage.
