Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior  SEO Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and encompasses a range of activities including on-page, off-page, technical SEO, content marketing, keyword research, link building, communication, competitor analysis, critical thinking, and, optionally, content writing.

Key Responsibilities

  1. On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO:
  • Conduct comprehensive on-page and technical SEO audits to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Implement on-page SEO best practices to improve website performance in search engine results.
  • Execute off-page strategies to build high-quality backlinks and enhance domain authority.
  1. Content Marketing:
  • Collaborate with the content team to align content strategy with SEO objectives.
  • Develop and implement content marketing initiatives that drive organic traffic and engagement.
  1. Keyword Research:
  • Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing keywords.
  • Optimize content for target keywords to improve organic search visibility.
  1. Link Building:
  • Create and execute effective link-building strategies to enhance the website’s backlink profile.
  • Identify and pursue link-building opportunities through outreach and relationship-building.
  1. Communication:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate SEO requirements and opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates on SEO performance and initiatives to stakeholders.
  1. Competitor Analysis:
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in the market.
  • Utilize competitor insights to refine and improve our SEO strategies.
  1. Critical Thinking:
  • Analyze data and trends to make informed decisions and adjustments to the SEO strategy.
  • Identify potential challenges and proactively develop solutions to overcome them.
  1. Content Writing (Optional):
  • Create SEO-friendly content when needed, ensuring alignment with the overall content strategy.
  1. Strategy & Research:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging SEO best practices.
  1. Analytics Reasoning & Decision Making:
  • Utilize analytics tools to track, measure, and report on key SEO metrics.
  • Make data-driven decisions to optimize and improve the effectiveness of SEO.
  1. Keyword Management and SEO:
  • Successfully handled keywords, enhancing website traffic and ranking. Proficiency in technical SEO and a commitment to optimizing keywords for improved visibility.
  1. SEM and AdWords:
  • Experience in exploring and working on Google AdWords, aiming to gain proficiency in analyzing, planning, and reporting across search, display, and video campaigns.
  1. Social Media Optimization:
  • Skillful in creating optimization calendars, analyzing social media ads, and aiming for increased followers and interaction, especially on LinkedIn. Planned initiatives to gain ideas and stay updated with industry trends.
  1. Certifications and Continuous Learning:
  • Dedicated to acquiring certifications in AdWords, and social media, and mastering tools like Semrush, Google Analytics, and more. Aspire to complete SEMrush courses and continually improve soft skills and communication.
  1. Team and Project Management:
  • Prepared to handle multiple projects and manage a team, aspiring to lead and mentor colleagues effectively.

Mandatory Skills

  • Proven SEO and SEM experience, including PPC campaign management across Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, conversion optimization, and online customer acquisition.
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Net Insight, Omniture, and Web Trends.
  • Should have experience in handling the team.
  • Familiarity with bid management tools like Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, and Search Ignite.
  • Proficiency in conducting A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Deep knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
  • Increase Domain Authority (DA) and organic search traffic to visitors.
  • Optimize keywords, and position keywords on the page of SERP.
  • Lead and manage a team, and handle multiple projects effectively.
  • Achieve significant growth in page likes, subscribers, and followers across FB, IG, and YT.
  • Generate backlinks, emphasizing .edu, .org, .gov, and high DA domains.
  • Continuous learning through completing SEMrush courses and focusing on personal development
  • AI Tools: Should know how to use AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, Bard, etc
