Position overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven  SEO Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and encompasses a range of activities including on-page, off-page, technical SEO, content marketing, keyword research, link building, communication, competitor analysis, critical thinking.

Key responsibilities

  1. On-page, Off-page, and Technical SEO:
  • Conduct comprehensive on-page and technical SEO audits to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Implement on-page SEO best practices to enhance website performance in search engine results.
  • Assist in executing off-page strategies to build high-quality backlinks and enhance domain authority.
  1. Content marketing:
  • Collaborate with the content team to align content strategy with SEO objectives.
  • Support the development and implementation of content marketing initiatives to drive organic traffic and engagement.
  1. Keyword research:
  • Assist in thorough keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing keywords.
  • Optimize content for target keywords to improve organic search visibility.
  1. Link building:
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of effective link-building strategies.
  • Support the identification and pursuit of link-building opportunities through outreach and relationship-building.
  1. Communication:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate SEO requirements and opportunities.
  • Provide updates on SEO performance and initiatives to stakeholders.
  1. Competitor analysis:
  • Assist in conducting competitive analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in the market.
  • Utilize competitor insights to contribute to refining and improving SEO strategies.
  1. Critical thinking:
  • Analyze data and trends to contribute to informed decisions and adjustments to the SEO strategy.
  • Identify potential challenges and actively participate in developing solutions to overcome them.
  1. Content writing (Optional):
  • Contribute to creating SEO-friendly content when needed, ensuring alignment with the overall content strategy.
  1. Strategy & research:
  • Contribute to the development and execution of comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging SEO best practices.
  1. Analytics reasoning & decision making:
  • Assist in utilizing analytics tools to track, measure, and report on key SEO metrics.
  • Contribute to making data-driven decisions to optimize and improve the effectiveness of SEO.
  1. Keyword management and SEO:
  • Work on handling keywords to enhance website traffic and ranking.
  • Begin developing proficiency in technical SEO and contribute to optimizing keywords for improved visibility.
  1. Certifications and continuous learning:
  • Display dedication to acquiring certifications in AdWords and social media.
  • Aspire to complete relevant courses and continually improve soft skills and communication.

Mandatory skills

  • Proven interest and initial exposure to SEO concepts.
  • Basic understanding of website analytics tools.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to team efforts.
  • Familiarity with basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript concepts.
  • Eagerness to stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in SEO.
  • Should know how to use AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, Bard, etc

Experience level: 2 to 4 years. Managed 40- 80 keywords with 80% on page 1 in target geography. Successfully executed Google Ads campaigns and handled social media optimization, aiming for specified follower counts will be an added advantage.
Educational qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree.
